Minimal

Consuming less isn’t just about buying or wasting fewer things.  The approach flows into all aspects of life.  It’s doing fewer activities, signing the kids up to less extracurricular stuff that winds up making them stressed and less resilient.  It’s expecting less from each other, and it’s traveling less on holidays, so that we can connect more, be more present.  It’s only boiling as much water as you need in a kettle. It’s living life consciously and truthfully.  In many ways it’s constantly asking yourself, at the deepest level, ‘What truly matters?’

Real minimalism sees us engage with things as they are.  With less noise in our heads, our souls can hear the call to join life.  And if we put down some baggage, we can be ready to be wildly, joyously necessary.
