Finished sweater = Sunday joy

I joined a KAL (knit-a-long) through Canadian Living a few weeks ago.  In this KAL, the goal was to knit up one of my favorite designer's sweaters:  Jane Richmond's Classic Raglan.  I had been eyeing this sweater ever since Jane posted it, and now seemed the perfect time to cast on and start knitting.

Week one:  beginning from the top/neck.


Week two:  needs sleeves!


Week 3:  one sleeve done.


Week 4:  finished!

I loved following this pattern so much, I cast on another before my first was finished.  I decided to add a big red surprise on the front:
